Toyota, the world’s top car maker, has announced a new worldwide recall of more than 400,000 of its hybrid vehicles.
Most are the latest model of the Prius, Toyota’s flagship “green” car.
The recall follows hundreds of complaints from drivers in Japan and the US about braking problems with the vehicles.
It is the latest in a series of recalls involving more than eight million cars.
