Try the Toyota Highlander hybrid. It’s a great SUV built on a car frame so that it rides like a car but has the room of a SUV.

You won’t find a lease, or loan, for $200-$250 a month for a vehicle like this unless you make a large down payment or find a manufactuer-sponsored special deal. That’s on a brand new vehicle. It’s difficult to find leases on used vehicles. You usually have to find an independent lease company. If you want to understand more about leasing, here’s a good web site:

I don’t think you can lease a hybrid for that much unless you are putting $4K down. You might also want to rethink leasing a hybrid because what you would save in gas, you are going to pay in the lease because it will cost more than a traditional car.

2008 Ford Escape or 2008 Mercury Mariner. Good mileage and fair price. I don’t know about $250 a month though. I sell cars and unless you are going to put a good and I mean a good down payment then it’s not going to be around that area.
