I have a problem with driving small cars but I want to be good to the environment, too. Suburbans are my favorite but they guzzle gas. Tell me what you think of the SUVs you suggest.
Cadillac Esclade, GMC Yukon, & Chevy Tahoe. All 3 are built off the same platform as the Suburban. Of course if you are driving on the highway hybrids are a waste of money.
The Dodge Durango also comes in a hybrid. It uses the same hybrid system which was co-developed with GM and BMW.
One of those Ford things. It’s called an Escape I believe.

Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid
GMC Yukon Hybrid
Cadillac Escalade Hybrid
They are the biggest Hybrids you’ll find.
But I wouldn’t call any of them "environmentally friendly"

There’s two that are about the same size, the Chevy Traverse and Ford something.
I Iike both of them because they’re American and as you can see around you, we need to invest in our own economy. Besides, the ratings on both are pretty good. Mileage, comfort, fit and finish and some other stuff I can’t remember.
As far as reliability, we simply can’t tell for the fact that this Hybrid technology hasn’t been mass produced for very long, so we can’t know any long term hidden bugs.

Car and Driver type magazines. I read the article months ago, and since these aren’t vehicles I’m currently interested in, I don’t remember the details too well.
