What do you all think of hybrid cars and suvs?
I think they are trying but what they have offered us still isn’t good enough. I have a hybrid civic and its always always at the dealership being fixed and I just had to replace the hybrid battery already. I don’t see how you are saving money with this one.

I think they’re getting better each year, but that the battery technology is still a problem. How soon are owners having to replace their batteries and how much does it cost to replace them? Remember, standard lead acid car batteries only last 4 or 5 years.

It is a great concept, however I wish the hybrids would also run on E85, be more of a flex fuel. That would really help to eliminate the need for foriegn oil.
On a side note these hybrids are hurting the economy up here in Michigan, but Detroit will get it right soon enough.
