I agree with you.. we need to convert most Americans’ mindset toward using Diesels instead of using Hybrids yuck!, just like what the Europeans do for almost a decade…. Diesel provides very high torque and grunt, really suit Highway driving, which is something that most Americans do, daily…..

This test is completely outdated. BMW updated their Idrive system recently, and VW toureag is just a POS waiting to fall apart.
I think Mercedes GL diesel is the best, if you’ve got to haul lot of things around. Next is X5 diesel, and VW toureag is probably last. Hybrids- big NO
