Are there non-hybrid SUVs that aren’t gas-guzzlers?

I’m interested in buying a used, non-hybrid suv, no older than 2005.

In any make or model, is there a SUV(s) that get good gas mileage?

If so, can you please tell me the make, model and year… or direct me to a website that tells people stuff like this. Thanks

I used to own a Toyota RAV4. The older ones (before 2007) have 4 cylinders, which helps with the gas mileage. I owned a 2006 and usually got around 22-23 mpg. I loved that car and the only reason I sold it was because I just didn’t want an SUV anymore. Highly recommended!

Sure 4cylinder models… but soem will feel underpowered and or over worked if you have a full ride… but they should return decent MPG…

I just got a 08 Chevy Equinox LT2. and i loves it… it is a standard v6, but it has returned 19mpg city only… i have yet to run it on the freeway… it also haas the roomiest back seat of any in it’s class.
