I’ve heard rumors of a hybrid Toyota Sienna in the US ever since Toyota started selling the hybrid Toyota Estima in Japan in 2001. (The Estima, when it used to be sold in the US, was renamed the Previa for the US market.) Then, in 2003, Toyota introduced the hybrid version of the Alphard minivan/MPV…
If you were up for the conversions and importing, you could bring one of those over from Japan today…

Sadly, the closest that you can get currently in the US to a minivan is either the midsized hatchback Toyota Prius, or one of several hybrid suvs (Ford Escape Hybrid, Mercury Mariner Hybrid, Mazda Tribute Hybrid, Lexus RX400h (Harrier hybrid), Toyota Highlander hybrid, Saturn Vue Green Line, or the upcoming GMC Yukon/Chevy Tahoe hybrid.
The minivan is a dying breed. The cross over vehicles will soon replace it!
