where can i find information on hybrid cars?

i need info on cars that run partly on electricity and partly on gas

Check out http://www.all-about-car-selection.com/hybridSUV.html for more information on hybrid vehicles. Hybrids are better suited to city drving as the engine can shut down when the vehicle is stopped and the electric motor keeps the vehicle on.

Over the next 5 years, we’ll see huge growth in the hybrid vehicle market. That said, hybrids are nothing new. Toyota introduced the Prius in Japan 9 years ago.

Here’s a really good resource. I drive a Civic Hybrid 2006 and it’s awesome. More than 42 miles per gallon and it turns off at the lights and in jams. Zero pollution! Also, Civics and Prius’s are the only two cars that you’re allowed to drive in the commuter lane (when you’re by yourself)!

the batteries in those car are extremly exspensive to replace. And they do produce some pollution, why it it has gas. Also with some of these vehicles if you decide to add an after market stero it is almost impossible to do. Yes you may get 40 +- miles to the gallon but you can come close with a corrola.

I drive a 2002 ford mustang. I get about 26 miles to the gallon and I produce very little emission. If you want that kind of car hey to each his own. I prefer power of 10 gaollon savings in gas.
