But the thing is … But the thing is they don’t have to be LOUD. They just need to sound like regular cars to be heard. And I’ve been around hybrids as well, and they are pretty darn quiet. I’ve seen some tests done by blind people and heard stories–like one from a cane travel instructor who had a hybrid snap his cane in half when he didn’t hear it coming. But it’s not the blind who should be concerned. Why do you think we were all taught to stop, look, and LISTEN? As a mother, I’m concerned for my child.
The strange thing … The strange thing is I have a Friend with one and I have been in it and it is not silent it has motors and I could hear the motors. So I think that if I could hear the motors on the wheels then I think that someone that is blind would be able to hear the motors also. I will check with the school for the Blind which is here in my town. This video by the way was humor and was suggesting electric cars be made to be loud! To both aid the blind as well as power the car.
*sigh* Did you hear … *sigh* Did you hear about the boy hit by the hybrid? If you don’t understand why having hybrids emit the sound of a regular engine, why don’t you look up the reasoning rather than making yourself seem terribly ignorant?
You are right about … You are right about immigration I my self am Mexican but my family does not understand why the Mexican people that come over to this country live in such ways. I hate going into a neighborhood that was once nice but is now run down because the people do not choose to better themselves with all the opportunities this country has to offer. I do not understand why they immigrate if they are going to live the same way that they did in their native country.

Very fine … Very fine sentiments about our Flag. I agree 100%. My feelings and thoughts on this have been polarized from a young age by my Grandfather and Father, and now I am happy to pass those along to my two boys.

I think that the … I think that the USA has one of an Ego personally, That would be why we are viewed as a joke. It’s kind of like me and my friend who is WAY over-confident. I am a little under, So when he get’s into that “I’m better then you no matter what.” mode. I get jealous, It hurts and things get rotten.
It’s sad I know that I am comparing the workings of an entire country nay the world, to the life of a child. Sometimes, It really gives the imagery though, If done correctly.
Perhaps I may be … Perhaps I may be mixed up, But I’m continuing. I’ll learn more if I did so It doesn’t matter to me.
Continuing on about the message we send the world. A very mixed one I believe. Some despise us with every living cell from the tips of their hair to the tips of their toe nails, and some revere the country as a Haven.
Even people of our own country are losing pride for it. It’s a sad day when that happens. Another thing is the world looking at us as a joke more and more day by day.
As for Immigration, … As for Immigration, I think we treat them well enough already. Everyone else in the country needs a drivers license. Why should we lax on them?
We already give them money and help them out more then even our own citizens. This is an outrage!
Recently I have learned of the benifit’s immigrants already get. No wonder some view our country the way they do. (Don’t worry theres more )
I think the … I think the reasoning behind the flag hanging is what really matters, I would never hang another flag without portraying my own flag, However it is the freedom to do so that allows this. So can anything really be done about it?
