Americans are fools ...
Americans are fools to let this happen.
The US Congress voted to allow Treasury Secretary Paulson to hand over to Wall Street buddies, Over 800 billion dollars, Thats for openers.
The US Treasury on their own have dispensed billions more to financial firms. The Federal Reserve, a private company owned by foreign bankers, refuses to identify who it has given the US money it has loaned out of thin air created from debt that will hobble our children and grand children

Part 2: Mr. ...
Part 2: Mr. Bricklin's system (though he did not explicitly state it in the video) is known around the internet as an "HHO" system, generates hydrogen via electrolysis from water onboard a car, and feeding that hydrogen into the fuel-air stream heading for the engine, to increase mileage.

This is all very ...
This is all very cool and I wish Bricklin luck. There are two big errors in the reporting here though: The system Mr Bricklin proposes has nothing to do with fuel cells, and also has nothing to do with plug in hybrids. Fuel cells use bottled, compressed hydrogen (and oxygen from air) to create electricity to drive an electric motor. A plug in hybrid is an electric car, whose batteries are charged using a plug, that also has a small gas motor that charges the car's batteries when they run low.

Hybrid technology ...
Hybrid technology will proliferate as soon as it is economically viable. Why does any $12,000 econobox out-perform a $24000 Prius? The Prius is not an effective competitor, and never will be until it successfully competes with a conventional car, and also at the same price. Right now it's tree-huggers with deep pockets who buy Priuses. There is a market for them, but they don't compete well with simple economy cars at half the price.

Bricklin has no viable solutions.

agreed. Catalytic ...
agreed. Catalytic converters? Dude, learn a thing or two about cars before you conduct an interview about engine technology. It's called 'doing your homework'.

Abysmal.

Decent info from Bricklin though.

Thanks for the vid. ...
Thanks for the vid. lots of really good ideas, particularly the mention of how to see through the confusion of Hydrogen infusion into engines.
Also the idea that America could be shown a group of positive engineers have a round table with the Auto dealers comes to mind. I imagine that if some successful car makers discuss new directions and real finances, All America would listen and watch.
